Read the set of related affirmations in this post aloud. It’s important to your conscious and subconscious mind to hear the affirmations said in your own voice. Choose one or two of the affirmations from the set to start working with. You only need one or two affirmations, used consistently, to make a substantial change in your life.
Affirmations are most effective when said aloud. Studies have proven that it’s impossible to think a negative thought and make a positive statement aloud at the same time. Use this principle to halt negative thoughts in their tracks and turn them around.
Say your chosen affirmation loud enough for your mind to hear your voice saying the words and take notice of how you feel as you begin and as you continue your practice. Feeling better? Repeat your chosen affirmation at least twice a day – morning, and night – for at least 30 days, and reinforce your affirmation by writing it in your journal.
Affirmations are powerful, positive sentences that can change your mindset. Don’t focus on challenges and lack, but on healthy self-esteem and unshakeable self-confidence. You can leverage the power of affirmations in your life by beginning an affirmation practice – using one or two favorite affirmations over the course of 30 to 60 days to permanently change your mindset and by extension, your life.

Nature can teach me many lessons about how to live a fulfilling life, and how to thrive within my life. When I am able to notice and enjoy the simple things in life, I increase my ability to thrive on simplicity.
When I see the beauty of birds, trees, plants, and the world around me, I can enjoy the treat to my eyes. When I feel the softness of the breeze against my skin and flowing through my hair, I can enjoy the caress of air. When I notice the scent of flowers blooming nearby, or smell the fresh, clean fragrance of the world after a rain shower, I can enjoy the memories it brings and the deep inhale of lovely aromas.
I thrive on simplicity.
Birds amaze me with their range of colors, sizes, and species. Each type is equally beautiful in its own way, and they present that beauty unconditionally. Seeing their best side reminds me that it is possible to present my best side in all situations.
When I consider that birds remain as beautiful and cheery on rainy days as they are on sunny days, I am humbled. They teach me a lesson in being grateful.
Just being able to experience my world is a reminder that I am blessed.
I use examples from nature to power myself through challenges and come out smiling. Although I sometimes hurt, the beauty of my soul remains intact.
The creatures of the air fly around knowing that they are provided for. That faith, that certainty, is a lesson in the abundance of life for me.
Whenever I feel concerned about the direction or circumstances of my life, I remember the birds. Their portrayal of confidence and high-spiritedness is inspiring. They focus on moving forward – doing what they must do to sustain themselves.
There are many aspects of my life that sustain and strengthen me.
I know that even when I feel out of options, I can continue to do the things that sustain me. I can meditate or pray, write in my journal, create and listen to affirmations, study to learn more about a subject that interests me, connect with friends or family members, listen to music, be productive with my daily activities, and so much more.
Today, even my greatest challenges are manageable when I believe in myself, trust in my skills and knowledge, reach out to Spirit, Source, or that which is beyond me, and remain happy. I celebrate the good experiences and things that are bestowed on me, and that I attain through my own efforts. I have enough to feel content and at peace each day of my life.
