Read the set of related affirmations in this post aloud. It’s important to your conscious and subconscious mind to hear the affirmations said in your own voice. Choose one or two of the affirmations from the set to start working with. You only need one or two affirmations, used consistently, to make a substantial change in your life.
Affirmations are most effective when said aloud. Studies have proven that it’s impossible to think a negative thought and make a positive statement aloud at the same time. Use this principle to halt negative thoughts in their tracks and turn them around.
Say your chosen affirmation loud enough for your mind to hear your voice saying the words and take notice of how you feel as you begin and as you continue your practice. Feeling better? Repeat your chosen affirmation at least twice a day – morning, and night – for at least 30 days, and reinforce your affirmation by writing it in your journal.
Affirmations are powerful, positive sentences that can change your mindset. Don’t focus on challenges and lack, but on healthy self-esteem and unshakeable self-confidence. You can leverage the power of affirmations in your life by beginning an affirmation practice – using one or two favorite affirmations over the course of 30 to 60 days to permanently change your mindset and by extension, your life.

Our modern world, as wondrous as it is, also contains a LOT of reasons to be anxious. Everyday situations relating to our work or business, our personal state of emotional or physical health, and the state of the world around us (coronavirus epidemic, anyone?) is enough to bring on feelings of anxiety.
Worrying about the future is a common reason for anxiety – so much of what we look forward to is out of our individual control. Feeling anxious isn’t always a bad thing – nervousness about the unknown is uniquely and reasonably human – but if those very normal feelings start to interfere with your daily life and adversely affect your health, it’s time to take positive, intentional action to relieve them.
You can’t live your best, most authentic life if you’re dealing with all-consuming fears that affect your daily life and activities. To help ease your anxiety, consider including one or two of the affirmations below in your daily practice. Read through the list of affirmations and choose just one or two to begin with – read them aloud and see which ones resonate with your mind, heart and spirit.
Once you have chosen your target affirmations, begin your practice. Say the affirmations out loud when you start your day, mid-way through your daily activities, and again before you retire for the day. Continue this practice for at least 30 days and use your journal to record your reflections and feelings. Expect that you’ll feel better and you likely will, but journaling about your feelings will help you to refine and show evidence of the positive effects of your efforts.
Comment below this post that you’ve started this practice and let me know how you’re doing, and give yourself the grace and time to truly apply one or two of these affirmations to your life. You’ll be glad you did.
Affirmations to Help with Healing Anxiety
I can’t control everything and that’s okay because that isn’t my job.
I will not be reduced by the things that happen to me.
I will not allow my worried thoughts to define me.
Whatever I accomplish today is enough. I am enough.
I am transforming fear into courage.
I permit myself to believe in something that feels good.
This is a process, and I am taking the next steps to grow into my power.
I am open to the universe’s blessings.
I am calm, I am safe, I am capable.
I am brave, I am lovable, I am accomplished.
I am empowered, I am prepared, I will be okay.
I will be okay, and everything will be fine.
This moment is fleeting, this moment and the emotions will pass.
Soon, I’ll get better.
I have the power to change my emotions.
I have the power to find the courage to overcome my fears.
I deserve happiness, I deserve peace, I deserve success.
If I set my mind to it, then I can do anything.
I am in control of what I can control, my feelings, decisions, thoughts, and my life.
I have found the support I need to succeed.
