Affirmations to Eliminate Toxicity from Your Life

Read the set of related affirmations in this post aloud. It’s important to your conscious and subconscious mind to hear the affirmations said in your own voice. Choose one or two of the affirmations from the set to start working with. You only need one or two affirmations, used consistently, to make a substantial change in your life.

Affirmations are most effective when said aloud. Studies have proven that it’s impossible to think a negative thought and make a positive statement aloud at the same time. Use this principle to halt negative thoughts in their tracks and turn them around.

Say your chosen affirmation loud enough for your mind to hear your voice saying the words and take notice of how you feel as you begin and as you continue your practice. Feeling better? Repeat your chosen affirmation at least twice a day – morning, and night – for at least 30 days, and reinforce your affirmation by writing it in your journal.

Affirmations are powerful, positive sentences that can change your mindset. Don’t focus on challenges and lack, but on healthy self-esteem and unshakeable self-confidence. You can leverage the power of affirmations in your life by beginning an affirmation practice – using one or two favorite affirmations over the course of 30 to 60 days to permanently change your mindset and by extension, your life.

Comment below that you’ve started this process. Add entries in your journal each day as to how you’re feeling. Note the positive changes you’ve made and celebrate them! Send me a note using the contact form and let me know how you’re doing!

Affirmations to Eliminate Toxicity from My Life

You don’t have to let toxicity and negative emotions or thoughts remain in your life. It’s YOUR life to live as YOU so choose. Whatever situations you face can be conquered – and you have the strength within to do it.

Use this set of affirmations to reinforce your right to eliminate negativity and toxicity from your life. Release anything and everything that is holding you back, and lean into your authentic strength and power.

Read through this set of affirmations slowly and give yourself time to feel how each affirmation sits with you. Tune in to your body’s signals – when you say the affirmation, do you feel some tension? Perhaps a little resistance? Think about why you are feeling it.

If what you feel is joy, comfort, or a boost to your strength, consider writing that affirmation down in your journal as one of many you might use over the next 30 to 60 days to keep you moving forward and making positive changes.

I have the right to my emotions.

I do not need to justify myself or fear judgment. I am valid and I am valuable.

I am stronger than people think I am and that makes me a powerful force.

I am in charge of my experience. I am in charge of my life.

I can deal with anything and walk away with a positive experience.

I do not need to subject myself to the toxic criticism of others.

I do not need to subject myself to the toxic opinions of others.

I do not need to control others. I cannot control others, nor do they control me.

I do not need to put up with the negativity of others.

I am perfect as I am, and I don’t need someone else to validate me.

I release myself from the expectations of others and choose to live the life I dream of.

Their damage is not my damage.

I release my fears of being imperfect, I am good enough as I am.

I am breaking free from the negative patterns I have followed.

I am letting go of the toxic people and clearing my spirit of the burdens they brought.

This experience will help me grow.

Forgiveness is a gift that I give to myself.

I choose to move forward in forgiveness and move beyond the pain and toxicity.

I refuse to allow toxic people any space in my life.

I will make peace with the people who have done me wrong and let go of the anger and hurt.
