Ahead of me lies many possibilities for wonderful things to happen. I avoid using my age as a barrier to accomplishment. Youthful exuberance comes from within. I use it to enhance my drive to go after goals.
I am as young as I feel.
I use that belief to push myself to achieve career and education objectives, and important life goals.
The world is full of those who are younger than me, but I avoid feeling intimidated. I am willing to share my authentic knowledge and wisdom with those younger than I am to help them benefit from my experiences.
I also know that there are people older than I am who are deserving of respect, and when I can talk with them and gain from their beliefs and experiences, I will take the time to do so. Knowing that there is a wealth of wisdom in their lives and that I am blessed to listen to them helps me to strive to make those connections.
When I open myself up to new knowledge and the growth that results, it keeps my brain active. An engaged mind is youthful and energetic. I can think quickly and accurately because I exercise my powerful mental tools.
Physical fitness is also important to me. Taking the time to keep my body healthy is worthwhile because I am worth it. No matter what my current level of fitness, there are things I can do to help increase it.
Although my body is less flexible as I age, I will be intentional about keeping it fit and healthy.
I commit to daily exercise and healthy eating. The challenges of life are more manageable when I commit to living healthily at any age.
Today, my youthfulness of mind and heart comes across in my interactions with others. I embrace my age and the experience that comes with it. I am also happy to be able to live as if that age stays the same.
