I Will Intentionally Notice and Celebrate “Silver Lining Moments”

I will Intentionally Notice and Celebrate “Silver Lining Moments.”

What are “Silver Lining Moments?” Those times when no matter what challenges face me, no matter how dark and stormy the skies or the circumstances may be, I am confident that the sun WILL eventually come out and shine on me again.

I can attest to the fact that difficulties can soon be forgotten through the power of positive thinking and my commitment to walking through difficulties with my head held high as part of my Spiritually Authentic life and path.

I recognize that tough times, though they may bring stress and uncertainty, also call for me to tap into my reserves of resolve and courage. When I display the strength of spirit that lies within me, I am able to rise above my challenges and keep moving forward. My ability to move forward while rising above difficulties turns those bumps in the road into smoothly flowing success.

I avoid worrying about hard, unexpected situations that confront me. In time, a solution to any uncomfortable event – expected or unexpected – always presents itself.

I use disappointing occurrences as learning experiences and refuse to let black and white typewriter on green textilethem distract me from my goals. The past lessons I learned have prepared me to overcome future trials because I’ve built reserves of strength, courage, and wisdom within my Spiritually Authentic life.

Stressing and being depressed over disappointments rarely gives me the wisdom and strength to prevent them from happening again, though I CAN learn from them and plan ahead to be more prepared the next time a situation occurs.

I am a strong believer in allowing my positive, undefeated attitude and my strong spirit to shape my future instead of wallowing in defeats or challenges.

I maintain a mindset that brightness awaits me after even the scariest period of darkness, and I am strong enough, spiritually grounded enough, to make it through to the bright future I deserve.

When I take that approach, not only do I get the result I expect, but my faith and confidence in myself, my Spiritually Authentic path, and my abilities are reinforced and strengthened.

I choose, instead, to believe in silver linings. My decision to take the high road of positive thinking is powerful. I know I am capable of shaping my future by redefining my expectations.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. What aspects of my Spiritually Authentic life empower me to show gratitude when I get past a tough situation?
  2. Which situations make it difficult for me to maintain a positive mindset and centered spirit?
  3. What can I do to ensure silver linings appear after difficult circumstances – what parts of my Spiritually Authentic life can be deepened and strengthened after a challenge?
