I Detach Myself from Negativity

Read the affirmation below aloud. Loud enough for your mind to hear your voice saying the words and notice how you feel. Feeling better? Repeat this affirmation at least twice a day – morning, and night – for 21 to 28 days.

Affirmations are powerful, positive sentences that can change your mindset. Don’t focus on challenges and lack, but on healthy self-esteem and unshakeable self-confidence.

I detach myself from negativity

I remove negative thoughts and ideas from my mind so that they have no power over me. I let go of unhelpful suggestions and harmful experiences. I focus on positive inspiration and reinforce my strengths and abilities. I intentionally take note of how optimism makes my life better.

I avoid dwelling on negativity that can hurt me

Instead of getting stuck in a negative thought process, I quickly analyze the feelings and the root causes of the negative emotion or thought. This allows me to make a fast and productive judgment call on how to handle the situation.

I have the emotional and mental freedom to manage my thoughts

I am strong enough mentally and spiritually grounded enough to decide for myself what I think and what I will dwell on. I choose to fight negativity and eliminate it from my life. I avoid creating bonds to negative things, experiences, or emotions.

My defenses against negativity are strong

I eliminate all the stress, anxiety, and worries that come with negativity. I throw away and forget harmful things. I get rid of the pain that can damage my soul.

I focus on my center, my spiritual values, and my support network. I turn to positive friends and loved ones for help during negative circumstances. I also have the option of professional help. I have multiple choices that assist me on this journey.

I distance myself from negative people because they hurt my mind and spirit. I know this is healthier than dwelling on the pain, and I prioritize my mental and spiritual health.

Today, I detach from the negative things in my life to focus on the positive. I appreciate the universe through an optimistic lens.
